Research & Archives

In 2020 I received my BA in History at the University of Florida. Currently I am a Museum Studies MA student at the Harvard Extension School.

I am a proud daughter of queer Dominican and Puerto Rican immigrants. Passionate about storytelling, I dedicate much of my free time conducting research, building my family’s archive, and chronicling written and oral family histories.

Unlike most, children of immigrant parents, I was raised with two moms and a father.  As a 2nd-generation Dominican-American raised in a household that defied the status quo in both the United States, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico, I seek to bring my families history to life, shedding a light on histories of queer Latinx identities in the diaspora, resistance, and liberation.

In 2016, I published what it’s like having two moms that garnered over 16,000 views.
